Goedgemutste breicampagne I

Sinds vier maart is op Facebook bekend dat Innocent Drinks dit jaar weer de Goedgemutste-breicampagne organiseert... Wie er meer van wil weten, hier is de link. De site is nog niet helemaal bijgewerkt, maar op facebook kun je ze ook vinden, hierbij ook de link daarvan. Vorig jaar zijn er 104.387 (20.877,40 euro) mutsjes gebreid en in 2011 zijn er 89.153 (17.830,60 euro) mutsjes gebreid. Voor ieder mutsje gaat er 0,20 euro naar het Nationaal Ouderenfonds.

Het iniatief komt uit Groot-Brittannië, het heet daar 'The Big Knit' en sinds 2003 is er al 800.000 pond opgehaald voor 'Age Concern', door twee miljoen mutsjes te breien. Vorig jaar kwam ik per toeval online de Nederlandse actie tegen en  besloot ik ook mee te breien, toen kwam ik op 23 mutsjes, dit jaar hopelijk nog een paar meer... Binnenkort misschien een foto van de mutsjes van vorig jaar (het moet toch ergens op mijn laptop staan).

Tot nu toe heb ik er dit jaar één gebreid... En die heeft sinds vandaag ook een pompom gekregen. Misschien start ik vandaag ook nog wel met een tweede. Maar eerst dan een leuk kleurtje uitzoeken uit mijn voorraad met wolletjes/katoentjes. Wordt vervolgd...

In Great-Brittain it's also known as 'The Big Knit', since 2003 they have raised already 800.000 pounds for 'Age Concern' by knitting two million hats. Last year there are knitted 104.387 little hats in The Netherlands, in 2011 89.153 little hats. Last year I found the initiative by chance when I was browsing the internet, I decided to participate and I've knitted 23 hats then. I'm hoping that I will produce this year some extra hats. Hopefully I can find a picture of the hats I made then, it's supposed to be somewhere on my laptop.

Well until now I've knitted one hat, I gave it just a pompom. Maybe I'll start with a second one tonight, first I've to decide which yarn I'll use then, to be continued...
